Eugenie Pastor

I am an artist, performer, musician and theatre-maker, based in London and originally from France.

I make theatre and performance, because they are the medium that, so far, has felt like the one that suited me the most. But I’m not too sure about labels and definitions, so I’ll go with the term ‘artist’ hoping it covers all the bits of stuff I do.

I am an Associate Artist at Little Bulb Theatre, whom I joined in 2009, and I co-devised and performed in many of the company’s award-winning shows, including:

Orpheus, Squally Showers, Operation Greenfield, Sporadical, and most of Little Bulb’s cabaret and band incarnations.

I am also a freelance performer and theatre-maker, and I have collaborated with Tom Penn, Edith Tankus, Glen Neath and David Rosenberg, and new circus companies Barely Methodical and Camille Boitel / L’Immédiat.

My work has been shown at Battersea Arts Centre, Soho Theatre, The Shed / National Theatre, Salzburg Festival, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Millenium Centre Cardiff, Bristol Old Vic, Shoreditch Town Hall, Southbank Centre, Latitude and Wilderness Festivals, among others.

I have a PhD in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, and I am a Visiting Lecturer at London South Bank University.
